Phase 1: Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
The first stage is a computer-based objective test. Candidates must score above the qualifying cut-off marks. This shortlists them for the regional recruitment rallies.
Phase 2: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
The physical rally tests your endurance and raw strength. The testing team awards specific marks for different performance levels.
- 1.6 KM Running: Group 1 finishes under 5 minutes 30 seconds (60 marks). Group 2 finishes between 5 minutes 31 seconds and 5 minutes 45 seconds (48 marks).
- Pull-Ups: 10 pull-ups grant 40 marks. Fewer clean pull-ups decrease your physical score.
- 9-Feet Ditch Jump: This is a mandatory qualifying jump.
- Zig-Zag Balance Beam: Candidates must pass this balance test cleanly.
Phase 3: Medical Examination
Army medical boards conduct strict checkups at rally sites. Candidates must have perfect vision. They should not suffer from color blindness or chronic physiological issues.
